Central Panhandle section trail conditions

Trail Conditions · November 30, 2017

Water levels are much lower than normal. An intentional clearcut will eventually close the SR 20 trailhead at Econfina Creek, and right now, the trail is closed there between Econfina Rd and the SR 20 trailhead, extending the amount of roadwalk that hikers must do to Pine Log by several miles.

Blowdowns and tough-to-follow trail may greet you in parts of the Nokuse section, especially that most difficult couple of miles along the banks of Lafayette Creek.
